An American family came face-to-face with a bear after the animal entered their home and began exploring the rooms. The bear sniffed around the furniture, stood on its hind legs, looked through the windows, and even opened the refrigerator as if it was choosing what to eat.
The video captured the family’s screams and panicked reactions as they tried to keep their distance and backed away whenever the animal moved closer. Eventually, the bear calmly left the house through the garage.
The first version of the clip, edited with the popular Jet2 Holiday song, gained more than 275,000 views, while a second version featuring the “real sounds” of the encounter attracted over 2.6 million views.

Experts reminded people that when encountering a bear in the wild, it is important to remain calm, avoid running away, and never try to climb a tree, as many bear species are excellent climbers. The U.S. National Park Service recommends staying in groups, making noise so the animal recognizes that humans are nearby, and leaving the area if possible.
