The police presence at Ben Affleck’s home was caused by an unexpected visit from FBI agents and officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Paparazzi caught them at the door of Affleck’s residence in California, where he had been advised to evacuate due to the ongoing wildfires. However, it was revealed that the officers were not there for evacuation purposes, but for a completely different reason.
According to TMZ, the FBI agents were in the Pacific Palisades area to investigate “unauthorized drone activity.” The authorities visited Affleck’s home to ask if he had any footage from his security cameras that could show a private drone potentially damaging a firefighting helicopter.
