Linda Kozlowski: From Hollywood Star to Moroccan Trailblazer
After captivating audiences worldwide as Sue Charlton in Crocodile Dundee, Linda Kozlowski quickly became a household name. The 1986 blockbuster, co-starring Paul Hogan, marked a major turning point in her career. However, after the Dundee series and a handful of other projects, Kozlowski quietly stepped away from Hollywood’s spotlight.
Born on January 7, 1958, in Fairfield, Connecticut, Linda’s passion for acting led her to the prestigious Juilliard School, where she graduated in 1981. She honed her craft in off-Broadway musicals and eventually landed roles on Broadway and television, including the acclaimed Death of a Salesman alongside Dustin Hoffman.

Despite her early successes, Linda faced challenges breaking into the industry. After her Death of a Salesman performance, she worked as a waitress while pursuing auditions in California. With support from Dustin Hoffman, who became a mentor, Linda eventually landed the role of Sue Charlton—a career-defining moment.
Crocodile Dundee was a massive success, grossing over $320 million on a $10 million budget. The film catapulted Kozlowski to international stardom, but Hollywood didn’t offer the meaningful roles she desired. Frustrated by typecasting, Linda turned down numerous offers and reprised her role in the Dundee sequels before ultimately stepping away from acting after the third installment.

While filming Crocodile Dundee, Linda fell in love with her co-star Paul Hogan. The two married in 1990 and welcomed their son, Chance, in 1998. However, their marriage ended in 2014 after 24 years.
Post-divorce, Linda embraced a new chapter, leaving Hollywood behind. She relocated to Morocco, where she met Moulay Hafid Baba, a local tour guide. Together, they founded Dream My Destiny, a luxury tourism company in Marrakech. The business focuses on crafting personalized travel experiences, allowing Linda to combine her creativity and hospitality skills in a new and fulfilling venture.

At 63, Linda Kozlowski has traded Hollywood’s bright lights for Morocco’s vibrant landscapes. While her legacy as Sue Charlton remains iconic, Linda now enjoys a rewarding life, curating unforgettable journeys for travelers and embracing the beauty of real-life adventures.
