Prince William recalled a peculiar gift he gave Kate Middleton early in their relationship, admitting that Kate still reminds him of it. He himself is baffled as to why he chose it in the first place.

Though she did so at the last minute, the gift ended up being practical and thoughtful. In contrast, Prince William recently remembered giving Kate a “horrible” gift that she would never forget.
“I once gave my wife binoculars – she’s never let me live it down. It was early in our dating, and I think it was a pivotal moment. It didn’t go well. Honestly, I don’t even know why I thought binoculars were a good idea,” the prince admitted.
By the way, royal family members typically avoid extravagant or flashy gifts at Christmas. Instead, they favor fun and light-hearted presents. There’s also a tradition of exchanging sweets the day before Christmas rather than on the holiday itself. Perhaps William should have chosen some treats for Kate instead of binoculars!
