One of Hollywood’s most talked-about romances has quietly come to a close. Just shy of their second anniversary, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially ended their marriage — but one shared tie still remains: their lavish Beverly Hills estate.
Originally listed in July last year for $60.8 million, the mansion has since dropped by $8 million, yet it still hasn’t attracted a buyer. Now, insiders reveal that Ben is ready to slash the price even further — simply to close the chapter for good.
“Ben and Jennifer already lowered the price by $8 million, but for Ben, it’s not about the money anymore,” a source explained. “He just wants the house sold so he can finally move on.”
Affleck is reportedly at peace with the idea that Lopez will always be in his life to some extent — especially since her kids from Marc Anthony are close with his children from Jennifer Garner. Though he remains respectful and thankful toward Lopez, he’s determined to fully move forward.
“That house is the last remaining piece of their relationship,” the insider added. “He’s already spent millions on the marriage and the split, and if letting go of a few more helps him start fresh, he’s fine with it.”
According to those close to the actor, Affleck is handling everything with a clear mind and a hopeful outlook. “Ben’s focused on what’s next. His life has had its highs and lows, but he sees all of it as part of the journey — and he’s ready for the next chapter.”
