A year ago, actor Elliot Page, previously known for his role in Juno as Ellen Page, came out as a transgender man. Elliot shared his happiness in finally embracing his “true self” and spoke out about the daily struggles faced by transgender individuals, expressing heartfelt gratitude to those who supported him through his transition. Page gained widespread recognition in 2007 with Juno, where he portrayed a teenage girl facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Ellen Page’s career began long before Juno catapulted her to fame. She had already appeared in several films, including a role in the X-Men franchise. At the Cannes premiere of the superhero film, Ellen showcased a delicate, feminine look, complete with cat-eye makeup and large stone earrings.

In 2012, Ellen opted for a change, dyeing her hair from its natural brunette shade to a darker tone. Along with this, she subtly adjusted her makeup routine, introducing a fresh look with peach blush on her cheeks. In 2013, she returned to her previous makeup style, using dark eyeshadow to define her lower lash line and bringing back her signature peach blush.
By 2015, Ellen embraced a more laid-back, low-maintenance hairstyle, often wearing her hair in a simple ponytail. Her makeup also became more minimal, typically consisting of mascara and a hint of lip gloss. By 2017, her style had evolved to include more masculine fashion, trading feminine dresses for sharp, tailored suits, all while keeping her makeup natural and nude-toned.

2020 marked a major turning point for Elliot Page. During the first wave of the pandemic, he spent time reflecting and realized that transitioning was key to finding inner peace. At the end of that year, Page officially transitioned and asked to be called Elliot. In interviews, Elliot later revealed that he had felt uncomfortable in a female body from a young age, even asking his mother to help him transition when he was just 9 years old.

In the spring of 2021, Elliot Page disclosed that he had undergone surgery to remove breast tissue, which helped create a more masculine appearance and significantly improved his quality of life. Later that year, Elliot made his first red-carpet appearance post-transition. He also updated his social media profiles to reflect his journey, proudly showing off his masculinity in new photos, including shots of his toned physique.
