The tragic fires in Los Angeles have claimed the lives of 11 people so far. Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck’s ex-wife, has been actively involved in helping those affected by the disaster. She revealed that she has a personal connection to the tragedy.
“I lost a friend. It’s incredibly painful. I’m not sure I can talk about her yet. She didn’t make it out in time,” Jennifer shared.

She expressed deep sorrow for those who have lost everything in the fires. “Hundreds of families have been impacted, and over five thousand homes have been destroyed. Just thinking about it, I can name a hundred friends who have lost their homes,” the Hollywood actress said. She mentioned that she can’t walk through her own home without constantly wondering how she can help those in need.

Jennifer is working with the charity Save The Children, which is currently offering shelter to families with children. “I’ve lived in the Palisades for over 25 years, and I believe every local resident is focused on how to help right now,” she concluded.
The actress opened her home to her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, after he evacuated from the fire-affected area. Jennifer allowed him to stay temporarily. The actor was spotted by paparazzi, visibly emotional over the wildfires.
