Bruce Willis’ family is going through a tough period as the actor, known for his role in Die Hard, battles frontotemporal dementia. Due to the worsening of his condition, he has been forced to retire from acting. A year ago, his family expressed concerns that 2024 could be his final year.
Willis’ daughters from his marriage to Demi Moore have been providing constant support. Recently, Scout shared an emotional video on her personal blog, filmed in the garden. In the video, she tenderly embraces her father, who is dressed in a cozy cardigan and dark blue pants. Bruce holds her close, his arms wrapped around her shoulders, with a well-kept lawn, a table, and an umbrella visible in the background.

Scout also posted photos with her mother, Demi Moore, her sister Tallulah, and friends. Demi continues to stand by her ex-husband during this difficult time.
In a recent CNN interview, Demi spoke about Bruce’s health, confirming that his condition remains stable. She emphasized the importance of accepting loved ones as they are in times of illness. “It’s undoubtedly a difficult challenge, but within that time, you can still find love and joy. Often, where there is loss, incredible beauty is hidden,” said Moore.
The couple separated in 2000 after 13 years of marriage. Despite their divorce, Bruce and Demi have remained close and co-parented their three daughters—36-year-old Rumer, 33-year-old Scout, and 30-year-old Tallulah. In 2009, Bruce married model Emma Heming, with whom he has two more daughters: 12-year-old Mabel and 10-year-old Evelyn.
Rumer, Bruce’s eldest daughter, recently shared how her parents’ relationship has served as an example for her on how to raise children in blended families. Rumer, who recently divorced Derek Richard Thomas, is raising their daughter Louetta, born in April of the previous year. Despite their separation, Rumer and Derek maintain a positive co-parenting relationship for the sake of their daughter.
